{After watching TPIR, Allie stated she would like to install a system in our stairwell so she can ride in a chair up and down stairs...I wonder what audience they are marketing???  Probably not the under 10 crowd. :) }

Lessons learned today:
1. Because you asked several times during your morning together, Grandma will brave the bitterly cold temperatures to take you for a walk to get the mail.
2.  Grandma will bundle you up "super warm" in random hats, gloves, and extra pants because Mom didn't pack outdoor clothes.
3.  Grandma sometimes forgets that there's no mail on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  :)
4.  Grandma sure loves her grandchildren...well, we already knew that one.

Day two of the same thing = everything cleaned in the washing machine with a stern "little talk"

Day three, ditto = washing your own dirty stuff in the tub a la Laura Ingalls

She's come home clean ever since (although she did seem to actually enjoy washing her stuff in the tub).
