Today was Lauren and Mom date day. After school we headed to the GR Children's Museum. We had a blast together laughing, playing, creating, and discovering. After the museum we went to Fazoli's then to the mall to pick out some summer pjs for her. Before heading for home we grabbed a couple shakes at McDonalds for dessert. It was a great date. At one point during our time together Lauren looked at me and said, "Mom, I love being on a date with you."
And I thought...we have to do this more often. Yes, definitely more often.
